Our pastors, deacons, captains are the watchmen. They tell us that they watch for our souls. But generally, they look out for themselves. Even after they leave us, they remain publicly silent about what goes on here. The reason: they have not repented to God and men for their own evil deeds committed in service to pastor.
But God says, “His watchmen are blind; they are all without knowledge; they are all silent dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all” (Isaiah 56:10-11). “I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent” (Revelation 3:18).
