But God says, “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds” (Romans 2:4-6). “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel” (Romans 2:16). “And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written” (Romans 2:19-24).
But God says, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:and his name is called The Word of God” (Revelation 19:11-13).
But God says, “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:34-37).
But God says, “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18). “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment” (Matthew 12:36). “And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them:thus shall it be done unto them” (Jeremiah 5:13).
(Pastors’ rambling, rather incoherent thought on Gods’ exposing of our wicked deeds. He is trying to distract/diffuse us into compliance to his devious decrees.)
“A heavy burden came over me for a number of those people that are across the street. I just began to weep, some of their faces coming before me and by knowing their lives and the pain that they’ve been through and the battles that they’ve fought, knowing that Jesus is coming back real soon, I just felt how can we rest without battling for their souls. You know, the hatred and the bitterness and whatever it is that some of them have created in their own new reality. You know they believe this – scripture calls it deceiving and being deceived, you know you talk something up among yourselves enough that it becomes truth. we know that physiologically…. you know you can’t trust your mind, you really cannot trust your memory what you see for the moment and 30 seconds later say definitively say what happened. The memory is stored in 4 different areas of our brain that have to come back together and unite and then create this event that happened previously. Now, when that spans 10, 15, 20, 30 years it’s not always in touch with reality because a lot of other things have been fed in there in the process and just like a dream many times our memory borrows facts from other areas of things that we’ve experienced in our lives and we might even have the wrong people there. And so in the creating of many things, deceiving and being deceived we are promoting thoughts, we are promoting our truth, etc. others begin to buy into it or feed back into it their perception and we are deceiving and being deceived and finally we create a reality. And it the reality that Paul was speaking of in Timothy its the Antichrist – opposing the Gospel, that is opposing the soon coming of Jesus, opposing the place of the church in the world. And we find people that we’ve known and loved and the Bible says Satan taking captive at his will. That’s what they think about us but let them think what they want let them try to kill us we are gonna pray for them they can think what they want, say what they want, they can create their realities, we are not taken up with that. We pray for those that hate us. We do good to those. Do we have compassion for the lost including those folks.”
There is this great recording app for cell phones. You can record sermons without having to get a cd in the bookstore. Instant gratification. Gotta love technology.
But God says, “And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: Which devour widows ‘houses, and for a pretence make long prayers:these shall receive greater damnation” (Mark 12:38-40). “And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people:for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things” (Mark 11:31-33). “For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things” (Mark 13:22-23). “And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread. And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember” (Mark 8:15-18).
(Gee whiz! I guess the Son of God didn’t know that the disciples can Not remember accurately. Why didn’t Jesus just tell them what Really Happened? Why did he expect them to understand? According to pastor, there is No Way we can understand anything-without pastors imprint of the Way It Really Happened into our puny little minds.)
