Sleep My Beauties – Sleep

“If anybody knows anything about possible abuse.., here in our midst, come speak with the pastors…” Cleverrrrr! A snow job pastor! You are brilliant! What better way to deflect attention off of yourself. Get us to think you are shocked at these allegations swirling around us. Of course! Enlist us to spy out any individual you could sacrifice for the greater good (your ministry). Or lull us into a happy, soft sleep that you are patrolling the church in order to keep the little people safe. Just rest in this lovely place of perpetual perfection. What a guy! Sigh. Just so you know, we are onto you and are not fooled. Not this time. You are digging your own grave. Sad. What ever happened to the plain old truth?

But God says, “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape” (Proverbs 19:5). “Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place” (Isaiah 28:15-17). “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron” (1 Timothy 4:1-2).

"Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from me, warn people immediately. If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths." Ezekiel 3:17-18 NLT
