Step #5 (12 Steps To Seduce YOU To Do Evil)

Step #5 Provide Us with vague and ever-changing rules.

“We follow one book here – the Bible!”(Pastor Scott). Yup. We do. Whichever verse satisfies the mood/method of the Master Manipulator we worship. So if it’s “You be the first to take them to the gate and stone them” (OT verse), well we do. Or if it’s “Judge not that you be not judged” (NT verse), well we do. One “dies” and one “lives.” All based on Pastor’s ever-changing rules. He is the only one smart/godly/annointed enough to discern the best verse/action to take. It’s all about “my ministry” stupid.

Pastors’ rules are based on his need for non-interference/notoriety. Idiots/offenders will be dealt with one way or ‘nother! How dare you question my love for my sheeple? “Offer up/sacrifice your husband – you can’t love him enough to make him obey me (I mean God).” Pastor’s comforting cronies who court his favor get caught doing bad things?! All will be forgiven (benevolent smile). No one is perfect now are they? “He who is without sin cast the first stone!” How dare you question my prodigious pastoral authority of decades! Here we go, on the merry-go-round of Random Rules of a Ruthless Man. Sigh.

But God says, “How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah” (Psalm 82:2). “The just Lord is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame” (Zephaniah 3:5). “Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the Lord…divers weights are an abomination unto the Lord; and a false balance is not good” (Proverbs 20:10,23).

The Calvary Temple Games

“The way you get to control people is to make them participate, not just subjugate them. If there’s one survivor, one victor, we get them participating in our system” (The Hunger Games: The Official Illustrated Movie Companion; p. 154). A movie of manipulating minions. A sinister strategy of success, at the expense of the manipulated. The Calvary Temple Games. We know it works. Find one young adult or child who will swear fealty to our Annointed Pastor, then “kill” his parents, siblings, spouse, friends. They become doubly damned, participants in a system that enslaves them. Sooner or later it will do unto them as they have done to those they loved. Just ask Pastor Jon, Adele, Emily, Mike, Sarah(s), Brian, Jonathan, Joe, Carly, Kristi, Megan, Tony, Danielle, Josh(s) etc. *retch* Or better yet! Ask the Zarous, Brights, Lawrences, Konszals, Burrels, Raggios, Gardners, Mathurs, Martindales, Schwartzs, plus old singles etc., (ibid., above) for the adult version of survival of the fittest. Only one hope and one escape route. Tell The Truth. Repent for our lies. Let God’s people Go.

But God says, “And thou shalt say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear” (Exodus 7:16). “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God” (John 3:20-21). “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire:there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:41-42).

Woe to Evil Doers

We have hardened our hearts. We have stiffened our necks. Laughing instead of weeping at the judgement of God. At the uncovering of wickedness in our midst. We have perverted the Word of the Lord. Let us turn at God’s reproof and humble ourselves. We are all like fattened cows of Bashan (Amos 4:1). Even in this our humiliation, God’s hand of mercy is extended, calling us to come and acknowledge our sins. He will forgive and cleanse us. God will not be mocked.

But God says, “Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink” (Amos 4:1). “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23). “Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit. The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house. Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me” (Micah 7:1-7).
