A Pastor/Pirate’s Life For Me

We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot
(We call it the Wealth of the Wicked, laid up for the Righteous!)
We kidnap and ravage and don’t give a hoot
(Your children are Our-I mean gods-children.)

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me

We extort, we pilfer, we filch and sack
(Don’t talk to anyone-or you will never see your ‘children/parents’ again!)
Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack
(If you cannot trusssst Me in money-Mega Guilt-Trip)

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me

We kindle and char, inflame and ignite
(The tongue is a little fire….we sow division/destruction/disorder/disunity/etc.)
We burn up the city, we’re really a fright
(Pastor strikes FEAR in our quaking souls. Damnation/Hellfire)

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me

We’re rascals, scoundrels, villains, and knaves
(Not many Mighty men here. Just a Bunch of Wascally Wolves, uh Sheep.)
We’re devils and black sheep, really bad eggs
(Angel of Light. Falling like a STARR from heaven. To Hell?)

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me

We’re beggars and blighters, never-do-well cads
(The Apple doesn’t fall far from the Tree, eh, Pastor?)
Aye, but we’re loved by our mommies and dads (tears of Joy)
(Who is my mom/pop? He that does Pirate/Pastors will.)

Yo ho, yo ho, a Pirate/(Pastors) Life for Me.

But God says, “I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found” (Psalm 37:35,36). “A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame” (Proverbs 13:5). “Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men” (Proverbs 4:14). “Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul” (Ezekiel 3:19).
