Step #10 (12 Steps To Seduce YOU To Do Evil)

Step #10 Leadership will dehumanize/label all Idiot/Offenders.
Rebel, self-willed, defector, stubborn, proud, heretic, lover of Self rather than lover of God. These terms are peppered through sermons, teachings,
youth group lessons, backroom meetings. Purposefully applied to our
Beloved members who question God’s Designated Authority – S.S. “Pastor are you sure you should be marrying a Young Woman weeks after your wife dies? And shes less than half your age? I think this will bring a reproach” (Concerned Member).

Member/family labeled. No discussion. No dialogue. Punitive actions taken ASAP. Leadership must Dehumanize/Demonize all who dare to deny our Diabolical master/pastor anything. Question his direction? Who Do You Think You Are? You Self-willed, rebellious, son-of-a-no-good-woman, Stupid, idiot, Sheep, etc. And the rest of us are so thankful for our witless state-of-mind. Ahem. Shall we make it sound Biblical?  And the rest of us are so thankful for our godly obedience to the Man of god. (So we won’t be trampled under his Hellish Heel of Destruction.)

It takes a village….right Pastor? You couldn’t do this without us.

But God says, “For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass” (James 1:23). “Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding…That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought” (Isaiah 29:16,21). “Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon…Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant” (Isaiah 30:12,13).

Step #2 (12 Steps To Seduce YOU To Do Evil)

#2  Make YOU take a small first step toward a harmful act. Use minor/trivial action and gradually increase them.

So now we have been primed to destroy via sermons/meetings/chapel in DT. Quickly we remove ourselves from contact with the Idiot/Offender. Their presence could contaminate us. We do not ask them questions, show concern, socialize. All of us, young/old, simultaneously act cold toward the “bad apple.” Alone in a church. We begin to mock/disparage their personality traits. Not acknowlege their presence in the room. We are well-groomed/trained. The dehumanizing process is always an indeterminate period of time. No one discusses the Idiot/Offender. Silence is golden (godly) don’t you know. The pastors/deacons will handle the him/her. Just pray people!

Most of the time ostracizing will do the job (of cowing him/her into Submission). However if the Idiot/Offender has any Strength of character/integrity/grit/convictions, uh, well, hold on to your seats folks. Pastors’ Deathstarr is firing up.

But God says, “…the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel” (Proverbs 12:10b). “Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad” (Proverbs 12:25). “And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment” (Hebrews 11:36). “Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty” (Psalm 27:12). “…but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them” (Ezekiel 34:4b).

12 Steps To Seduce YOU To Do Evil (Step 1)

#1 Provide you with a Scripture (ideology) to justify beliefs/actions.
Here’s a typical scenario at Calvarytempleland: Pastor has to get us to get rid of an offending family member who is concerned about his teachings. The idiot in question can influence family/friends, and so he/she must be Silenced ASAP. Pastor has an arsenal of verses he uses regularly. Let’s pick one. “A little leaven, leavens the lump…Purge out therefore the old leaven” (1 Corinthians 5:6-7). That will work. Begin.

With his chosen verse and a lurid description of mutiny in the ranks, Pastor embarks on rapid-fire sermons Sunday morning/evening/Wednesday evening, Friday nite youth/young adult groups. Shaming/goading us to justify the wicked deed he will soon push us into performing. This gripping pulpit performance is masterfully delivered! Sorrow (sadface) for the idiot offender. Righteous anger (madface) that our god (little ‘g’ smileyface) is being questioned. Steady determination (strongface) to do the Word no matter the pain. Blah, blah, blah, blah. It would be comical, except the idiot/offender is now being isolated out of his family, and placed against the wall for the firing squad. Understand, not for any sin. But for questioning god (uh Pastor).

Drop the Curtain. The Deathstar is positioned. Act 1 is over.

But God says, “And the burden of the Lord shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God. Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the Lord answered thee? and, What hath the Lord spoken? But since ye say, The burden of the Lord; therefore thus saith the Lord; Because ye say this word, The burden of the Lord, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the Lord; therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence: And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten” (Jeremiah 23:36-40).
